Introduction to SRM

Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) is a web-based purchasing platform that delivers sustainable savings and value generation for world-class supply management. It covers the full supply cycle from strategic sourcing to operational procurement and supplier enablement, leveraging consolidated content and master data. SRM enable end-to-end procure-to-pay procurement business processes. It reduces time and cost to qualify suppliers with SAP SRM. It manages suppliers according to goods and services they provide by relevant product categories.

The minimum system requirement:
Microsoft Window XP Professional Version 2002 with 512 MB of RAM.
The compatible browser is Internet Explorer  or Mozilla Firefox

Prerequisite System Settings
a) Enable Cookies:
    i. Go to Tools > Internet Options.
   ii. Go to Privacy tab, click on "Advanced" button in ‘Settings’
  iii. TICK on checkbox . Click OK
  iv. Click "Apply" then click "OK" to close the Internet Option

b) Enable ‘Pop-Ups’:
   i. Go to Tools > Internet Options.
  ii. Go to Privacy tab and see the ‘Pop-up Blocker’ section
 iii. Make sure you DO NOT TICK the checkbox.

c) Enable Download in Internet Explorer for Opening Attachment
   i. Go to Tools > Internet Options.
  ii. Go to Security tab, click on "Custom Level" button
 iii. Scroll down till you see Downloads. Change the “Automatic prompting for file downloads” from Disable to Enable. Click “OK” to activate the setting and exit Internet Options.

d)  For internet explorer version 8 and above, please click the ”Compatibility View” button on the Address bar.
